My sister and I were coming back north from Tampa and instead of taking the interstate, we took the scenic coastal road. At a stop light, I looked up and saw a sign that said "Follow That Dream Parkway". We both squealed with delight! Volkswagen AG is working hard on a complete overhaul of its U.S. lineup in a goal to turn around its North American operations and boost presence and sales in the region. The overhaul will be led by the new 2011 Volkswagen Jetta and a U.S. market new mid-size sedan, which will be built at its Chattanooga, Tennessee factory.

“No decisions have been made regarding the Routan,” Volkswagen spokesman Jill Bratina told Dow Jones Newswires. Bratina told the publication that the Routan and the minivan segment as a whole was “significantly impacted by the economic downturn and has not fully recovered.”
